Homeowners have recently seen evidence of a homeless encampment in the wooded preserve bordering this neighborhood and request that police check on this area.
The abandoned building behind the Storage Facility I manage is home to many homeless around Bloomington. They are leaving trash all over the ground as well as throwing things into the back side of the property. I myself do not feel safe enough to go back there to clean this up and there are people living out of campers back there and sleeping on the ground. This is causing issues with debris and trash being tossed onto our property causing an unsafe environment. I can not properly clean this area safely and would like the owners if this building to clean up the area from trash and debris.
This Duke Energy power line at this address has at least a dozen shoes hanging off it and could lead to an interruption in service in my neighborhood. Please ask Duke to remove the shoes.

#206651 was closed by Rob Council with this note: "Addressed issue with property owner. Will follow up." What does this mean--that Rob will follow up or that the Homeowner will follow up? It has been 30 days since I mailed the owner a certified letter and 19 days since I filed a nuisance complaint. The "resolution" of the report tells me nothing. Did the owner say that he would remove the dead parts of the tree? Does the city agree that it is dangerous? I am no less worried today than I was 4 weeks ago, but the case is closed.
The HOA at Wilmington Court is in need of reinstalling new wood timbers borders along the front of this building. We are not able to fit a timber along the front of this area because it appears this water meter cap has slid down almost to the sidewalk. The identical one on the other side of this entrance is quite a bit further up in the bed. Can we please have it looked at? Thank you! Abby Seifers, Wilmington Ct HOA Board Member
I was walking my dog in this neighborhood recently and I was surprised to see speed bumps on this block — it’s a narrow street, barely used, and you can’t get any speed because you have to turn at either 6th or 7th. I asked a neighbor why the city installed these and was told a new resident installed them on their own. Is that permissible??
