Please make sure whatever scooter ordinance is passed is enforced by city staff, not the companies. Improperly parked scooters need to be impounded. IU is doing a MUCH better job than the city making sure these things don't do damage. Follow the rules, great. If not, lock them up promptly.
Is there any chance that the City would beautify (i.e. remove the rusty fence, cut the weeds, and mow nicely) the property on Monroe St near Tri-North where the water tank used to be?
Note of demolition and rezoning request signs at this address. This is zoned R3 and is surrounded by R3 zoning on all sides. I want to register my opposition to the request because a residence with RU or RM design is inconsistent with nearby residences and property maintenance has been lacking. Past performance in this regard is indicative of future performance.

The accidents at Smith and Morningside need to stop. Another just happened. PLEASE put solar flashers on the Smith stop signs or even cross flags to get folks to actually stop there appropriately. Dangerous for cars. Deadly for bikers.

This cop 1705 has been blocking the alleyway for over an hour so far (30 minutes is the legal amount) Really bad for business to have a cop car right next to your business door. I just wrote another ticket about the stationing of a cop outside my business. (203632) I approached the officer and asked him to keep moving along as to not deter customers. He was immediately condescending, admitted to watching a movie while idling next to my business, and then attempted to brush off my request as “anti cop” which was deflective of the conversation I was trying to have as a tax payer and Kirkwood business owner. It’s not hard to understand that cops are easily an intimidating presence especially in patrol mode right next to your business door. Car #1705
New construction looks not to be consistent with zoning. This house was demolished and is being replaced with a larger structure. Does it meet zoning requirements for R3? Was a variance or zoning change given with or without public input?
