Unsafe curb damage, north edge of Kirkwood between College and Walnut, dead center, opposite the south steps to the Courthouse. This is a trip/stumble hazard, which I know because I fell on my face there at about 4:15pm on 5/1/25. There is other curb damage along the same edge, and I believe the cutout around the lamp post is also a hazard. If anything still hurts in the morning, I will get medical attention. Can the City review this section of sidewalk at College Ave and Kirkwood, right out front of The Tap? It may be out of compliance with the City ordinances that require a minimum 5-feet of width for sidewalks. This portion of sidewalk has felt narrow and congested for years. Today, I was walking through and with other foot traffic got pushed to the side where that limestone corner cap sticks out beyond the base of the planter and hit my leg on it. The railing from the Tap combined with that planter creates a significant hazard for pedestrians and restricts the flow of foot traffic. The sidewalk narrows right there. This could be fixed by removing the planter.

The sidewalk on the NE corner of Forrest and 11 is not accessible. It has a severely steep grade and bank (one corner is much higher than the opposite). I would not travel along the block on the North side of 11 between Forrest and Walnut Grove because of it.

Two blocks of east Kirkwood st seem to be closed off. I am asking if this is permanent? I understand its allowing out side dining which is nice. However there is a great shortage of parking in downtown. Removing 2 whole blocks of parking means that I'll never be able to park and use the restaurants that are at those locations. I cant use the library for the same reason. So I understand that this is good for students but it's bad for residents. And I think over all bad for business. I hope that after the virus scare is over you have plans to reopen parking there. What is the plan? Thanks
