An employee from hfi mechanical group filmed the children playing at the splash pad. If it’s for the city’s use I understand but if not I think it needs to be looked into.
The standing water around the Sycamore tree. This water is a swamp area. It is dirty and disgusting. It is very hard to keep dogs out of it because it is a big area. It needs to be cleaned up. Maybe put a more stronger fence around the area for now. Please do something about this standing water ASAP. IT IS NOT SAFE FOR OUR DOGS!! Such a beautiful park, with an unsafe standing water!!
Used and open syringes are being thrown every now and then at Bline Trail/ Switchyard park. Did we pay for this project so that drug addicts can shoot up and throw syringes where the kids are playing? Why are the restrooms not open for public use at the switchyard park as well as the BPD? Don't say that you don't have enough resources to hire and take care of those. Address the real problem.
Pickleball nets need adjusted. They need to be 36 in tall at the out of bounds line and 34 in tall in center of net.

We did our first visit Switchyard park - small dog area. I have a 6lb chihuahua. I experienced him getting out at Ferguson dog park. So any dog park we visit I check for gaps. The small dog area at Switchyard needs to be checked by Psrks. There were many gaps from fence to ground that’s tiny dogs could get out. The gaps need to be filled with dirt to bring over the fence line. Please let me know when this is corrected so we can return. Thank you.
Hi! I was just curious if there was any way you all could fill in the mud hole with rocks at the large dog park at Switchyard? My dog always runs straight for the mud and leaves a mess, which keeps us from utilizing the park as much as we would like. There was another muddy spot that was filled in with rocks earlier, and that was a nice addition! Thank you! We love our Bloomington parks!
