ATTN: Engineering Dept. For years, trees and bushes on city R/W have impeded Prospect Street adjoining the property (west of S. Madison St). Beacon GIS will confirm that the overgrowth is in the R/W. The street department at times has cut back the overgrowth. The planning department has indicated that there are invasive plants at this location. Trees hang down and touch vehicles when not trimmed. The problem has continued to get worse over the past several years. Not only is the overgrowth unmanageable, it is unsightly, detracting from neighborhood property values. Director Hanson, HAND suggested I make this UReport to the engineering department. [email protected] Please rectify this problem so that it is not an on-going issue. These cars park here everyday, right next to the no parking sign. There is residential street parking available on the other side of the street that they could be using. It causes traffic problems when cars are parked on both sides of the street.

There was a vehicle and trailer blocking the sidewalk on Henderson St. just north of Soma. The owner was by his car talking to a neighbor, and when I asked him to move it because it was blocking the sidewalk, he mouthed off, said explicit things to me, and refused to move it. I took a picture of his license plate.

A large pick-up truck has been parked for several months on the street, however they are over the yellow line and is obstructing the view to see oncoming traffic.

Alley on W. 3rd St. between 917 and 913 appears to be blocked by a fallen tree at the south end. My garage is on this alley and I am unable to use that end of the alley.

This car is parked over the designated parking area and on the surface used for driving traffic. When driving South on Henderson, if you needed to turn right onto Wylie St., you might clip the front of this car due to the inappropriate parking.

Illegal parking on street and grass at Olcott Park for youth games on Saturdays and Sundays. People parking on grass, in front of hydrants and stop signs are making the road almost impassable at The Stands and Canada Dr area in front of the park. Last week there was a death in the house on that corner and the EMT’s and fire truck could barely get to the house because of double parking and a mess of cars. Please tell coaches the Jackson Creek Middle School parking lot is where people should be parking and please have a police presence next weekend to direct people and to ticket cars parked illegally.

Immobile vehicles left on street 24/7. They are never moved, and the city code requires cars be moved every 72 hours.
