There is still a trip hazard on the overpass, adjacent to the convention center, near the steps. Sometimes there’s a cone over it but the cone goes away. Sometimes there’s a broken cover which is better than nothing. But now there’s nothing at all.

I live in Northwood Estates and travel daily on Kinser Pike from the bypass just to get home. After living here for 22 years, the amount of traffic has increased tremendously, especially BIG trucks. For the past 2 weeks, barrels, tape, etc have been placed there, restricting northbound turning in the left lane separately. What are the specific plans for the development and completion of this project? PLEASE complete this project before school resumes at Arlington and Bloomington High School North because in 1 afternoon I counted 28 buses going Southbound to the bypass. The sidewalk from S Lakespur Ln. to Mother Hubbard’s is getting very over gown and muddy making it hard to walk on. There’s a lot of honey suckle and even poison ivy growing into the walking area.

We’ve had large trucks run over our curbs repeatedly and the neighbors have also had issues with trucks going on their yard and damaging their property. We were told poles or other barriers couldn’t be put in place ironically until there is an accident first. But I am writing to request that a no large vehicles over a certain size or with carriers attached be allowed to turn there. The attached photo is the specific truck as it ran the curb from EMI

There are no signs on Coolidge or Brown streets by the Broadview Learning Center and Bloomington Graduation School building indicating it is a school or reducing speed limits. BGS is an alternative high school in MCCSC, but the students are entitled to the same protections as any traditional high school. Please remedy this inequity.
