Hi, there is a bunch of sand on the sidewalk at 401 W 7th in front of what I think is the Monroe County voter registration building. This was reported back in July in case #192518 but it was never cleaned up so thought maybe there was some confusion over where/what was being reported so I am including a picture this time. W. 3rd does a dogleg at S. Jackson. NOWHERE within this awkward intersection is there a single streetlight: Not where W. 3rd dead-ends at the Paris-Dunning house, nor along the brief stretch where W. 3rd travels south briefly in concert with S. Jackson, nor where it becomes an independent entity once again and transforms into a One-Way street (although the bicyclists, traveling east along W. 3rd, in counterflow to the automobile traffic, refuse to believe this proclamation!) This seems to be an oversight.
Abandoned looking vehicles and parts, engines all over the place. It looks like someone is living inside the building. Fluids all over the ground. I don't like looking out my window to see the parking lot and grass area covered in broken down vehicles. They are constantly working on these vehicles outside at all hours, playing music loud enough I can hear it in my home, and I have observed them on numerous occasions driving erratically into/out of the parking lot almost causing accidents. This is not only an eyesore to our beautiful community, but it is also a nuisance to those of us that live nearby.
Broken Handrail on 729 Building stairway
Original ticket number #177138 closed but never addressed so I created a follow up ticket (#177261) which was closed, marked Resolved. So, how can aticket be marked Resolved when the original ticket was never addressed? How about just ticketing and towing the cars that are parking in the no parking area and blocking the handicap ramp and many times going in the working direction? It is a hazard to enter Driscoll from Walnut.

The alley behind Osteria Rago is inaccessible for pedestrians when it rains. The pavement has potholes that trap water and the drainage doesn’t not divert water off of the road. The potholes need to be filled and the drainage fixed. It was very difficult to get to the restaurant and cars can barely maneuver through as well.

This intersection has a lot of accidents that occur. It could be because the lights aren’t green for long, but they’ll be red for a long time. Maybe the yellow light timing is too short. I know INDOT controls this area, but hopefully a nearby resident’s concerns could help expedite a solution.
8:04pm, Friday, November 8, 2024: A Marshall Security vehicle came out of Switchyard Park on the west side along Rogers without stopping, turned south on Rogers in front of traffic, and had a single headlight and a single taillight and no turn signals used. This was a small vehicle that has a small truck bed to it they use for patrols. This is not the first time I have seen Marshall Security disregarding traffic laws in that vehicle. Can the City address this? They need to repair the burnt out headlight and taillight as it is illegal to operate a licensed motor vehicle on the streets without those.
