Hello - I am the manager of the Osage Place Homeowner Association. The Board of the Osage Place neighborhood is wondering if it is possible to stripe parking spaces on Bernard Street. The goal is to help identify parking spaces and alleviate those parking improperly and leaving large distances (but not enough to park) when parking on the street. Plants are starting to block sidewalk. This has happened before at this same location. Not obvious which house is responsible, 723 (privately owned) or the property just to the west (715, IU-owned.) Side note: the uReport map has the address listed as "805 N. Park", but the porch is facing 11th and the address on the house says "723".

Case# 203083 should be associated with 819 N. Grant. That property also has a pending tree-of-heaven report (currently about to bloom), but the poison ivy and other invasives are now covering half the sidewalk along Grant. The responsibility for the mess is likely shared with the adjacent property to the south (815 N. Grant), but it is not obvious where the property line actually is.

504 W Dixie St, Bloomington. House has not been lived in for over a decade. Two abandoned vehicles in back yard are being used as shelter for a person who is apparently unhoused and unrelated to deceased owner and her family. The site is a mess with belongings strewn over the entire yard. It is unclear how human waste is being dealt with. Within the last week, curtains have been hung around the front porch to inhibit view to front door. I believe the unhoused person or person have gained unauthorized access to the house through this or the back door, because a window along the east alley side that has been covered with blind and curtain for over a decade now has the curtain pulled back. One can also see through the east vent into the attic that there is a hole in the attic roof, making it accessible to animals. This situation has become untenable, and a hazard for sanitation as well as the perceived safety of me and other neighbors.

At the southwest corner of the Farm Stop/Badknees property there's poison ivy growing off a fence into the sidewalk at head and ankle height. Someone should probably cut it back.

This rental house across the street from us has had two mattresses leaned up against the house by the garage for quite a long time being exposed to the elements and likely a habitat for vermin. More recently, someone has dumped a mattress from the Bypass that sits on the steep hill at the end of our Fritz Drive culdesac. Can HAND cite the rental property owner about the mattresses at the residence? And can Sanitation do something to remove the mattress dumped from the Bypass?
