Drugs and traffic blocking over 20 people paying cash for rent not supposed to be there
Drugs and traffic blocking over 20 people paying cash for rent not supposed to be there
An RV has been parked for several weeks in the same spot of the street next to this empty lot. Traffic at the 4 way view is blocked of any northbound lane traffic on N. Monroe coming from 10th street creating hazardous conditions. Pedestrian traffic for the Boys and Girls Club and the Food Bank nearby have an obstructed view of any oncoming vehicles. The file attachment states the city regulations for long term street parking for an RV
On Saturday 17 May at 7:11pm, there was a vehicle parked right in the street without lights flashing and with no occupant - supposition is that it was a delivery person who thinks the rules don't apply to them. This is a *very* common occurrence at this particular location. Seems like with the police station so close, delivery drivers would hesitate to block streets like they do. Is it possible to talk to the management of the establishment about this? Or could there be an officer stationed there once in a while handing out tickets? I imagine you could make a lot of money for your office slush fund, and just doing it a few times might result in a long-term fix.
Abandoned vehicle
Not clear if this is the responsibility of 308 or 310, but there is a weedy tree on the south end of the property line between these two lots that has grown out a lot, so much so that it is hard to drive down the alley at this point, especially when there are tons of cars parked back there.
Rideshare drivers (Uber, Lyft, etc) regularly stop and park in the middle of the bike lane at this location while they load up passengers from the nearby rental units. Last evening, I explained to one of them that it was not a place to park, but she just smiled, cackled, and drove off. Is this even a violation, or can they just stop anywhere they please for as long as they like? If it is a violation, and since it's so close to the police station, it seems like there could easily be an officer out there handing out tickets to teach them a lesson. Maybe they eventually will get the message that they don't own the roads.
Tree down
Blocking the alley for 4 days, im never that guy but do your stuff
There's a large tree down on Williams St., blocking the road between West 8th and 9th Streets, one half block from Butler Park.
Tenants parking car in alley behind the house (west side of property).
