I live in Northwood Estates and travel daily on Kinser Pike from the bypass just to get home. After living here for 22 years, the amount of traffic has increased tremendously, especially BIG trucks. For the past 2 weeks, barrels, tape, etc have been placed there, restricting northbound turning in the left lane separately. What are the specific plans for the development and completion of this project? PLEASE complete this project before school resumes at Arlington and Bloomington High School North because in 1 afternoon I counted 28 buses going Southbound to the bypass. We have 3 properties 1601 S Walnut, 1705 S Walnut, and 1701 S Walnut have all had recurring drainage and piping issues ever since AEG drilled into the street not too long ago. I would like to know if there is someone I can speak too over the phone regarding these issues, we are constantly getting tenant complaints even after we address these issues which makes me, and others, believe there is a larger issue going on. Please direct me in the best way to get this resolved ASAP.

We’ve had large trucks run over our curbs repeatedly and the neighbors have also had issues with trucks going on their yard and damaging their property. We were told poles or other barriers couldn’t be put in place ironically until there is an accident first. There are no signs on Coolidge or Brown streets by the Broadview Learning Center and Bloomington Graduation School building indicating it is a school or reducing speed limits. BGS is an alternative high school in MCCSC, but the students are entitled to the same protections as any traditional high school. Please remedy this inequity.
