Other: I recently helped a friend with competency issues respond to a notice of violation from the city. The date the complaint was opened was 10/16; the letter was postmarked 10/19; she received it on 10/21. She had seven days from the notice of violation to respond, or until 10/23. That’s a very tight window. I was able to help her respond in time but please consider being a bit more generous with your deadlines, keeping in mind how slow mail delivery is. Thank you.
