Other: We would like to request a slowdown sign or a lower speed limit on our street 20th St. people have been coming off the highway onto our street doing 40mph until they hit Arlington road. This is a neighborhood with children and a daycare.

Thanks for reaching out. I understand the concern about speeding on 20th Street, especially with children and a daycare nearby. The City’s resident-led traffic calming program is the way to request changes to slow traffic on neighborhood streets. Applications are closed for this year, but the process is expected to open again in late spring or early summer 2027. The website has information about the program and how to apply when it reopens.
