Other: We’ve lived here for decades. The sewer drain across the street and directly to the west overflow with even an hour of rain. These are old, limestone houses, so most of us park in the street or one car in the driveway. We’re all , mostly,60-75 yr old people. It’s not only so dark outside, if it rains, it’s absolutely brutal trying to navigate the curb, because the water is so deep. Winter is almost here, that’s even worse. I realize we don’t live in the rich neighborhoods, but we are all mostly IU educated people, we pay taxes. Our neighborhood doesn’t get snowplows for days. We are kind, old beatnik people, we have lived here for decades. If could please look at the drains, install a street light, and salt the streets this winter, we would greatly appreciate it.
