The Board of Public Works does issue noise permits for construction noise, but only if it is being performed during quiet hours (Night time work). According to Ordinance 14.09.040(b) - Constrution noise is an exemption betweeen 6am - 10om if there is a valid construction permit, or work that does not require a permit. The exeption to this is Sundays and Holidays as defined in 14.09.020.
I am closing this based on the exemption. If noise is occuring outside of the exempted hours, please file another detailed uReport with times.

Planning forwarded this to BPD, but we do not issue noise violations for construction sounds. Planning advised that it may be something Public Works handles? If not, it can be cleared out.

Planning does not enforce the sound ordinance. If this is not a BPD matter, it perhaps may be something Public Works knows about.
