Other: I don’t know why there aren’t stop signs at either end of second st. The right of way is confusing since if you didn’t think of it as one continuous street, an accident could easily happen. For example, even as a pedestrian I’ve almost been hit just from crossing and not seeing the car come from around the corner of the other side of second street. I think this is a rather dangerous intersection and there’s no reason to not have a couple more stop signs on the ends of second street.

We’re going to collect traffic volume information at the intersection and review the existing conditions to help determine whether additional stop control may be appropriate. Stop signs are primarily used to assign right-of-way rather than as a general traffic-calming measure, so we’ll use the data and field conditions to evaluate whether an all-way stop is warranted.
