Traffic Signals:

Other: I don't know if this is the right site to complain, but the traffic light at Tapp Road and Deborah Dr. has recently started turning red a lot more than it used to. The problem with this in my opinion is that there are sometimes 10-12 cars stopped on Tapp Road while there are from 0-2 coming out of Deborah Dr. It also stays red longer than it used to. Just doesn't make a lot of sense.

Responded to the resident and explained that staff are working to correct the signal operation so Tapp Road is not unnecessarily stopped when there is no side-street or pedestrian demand.

Thank you for letting us know about the signal timing. We are aware of the issue and are working on adjustments so that traffic on Tapp Road is not stopped when there are no vehicles or pedestrians on the side street needing service. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have the operation corrected soon.
