Other: I have a rat that seems to have taken up residence under my deck. He has been feeding on droppings from my bird feeders, so I have stopped putting seed out. I have set traps but no success yet!

You have done everything we would suggest. Without a food source, it should move on. If you have not already, you may want to discuss the situation with your neighbors to make sure there are not any other local sources of food. If the issue continues, you may wish to hire a nuisance wildlife company to assist. If you would like to discuss further, please call 812-349-3492 to speak with an animal control officer.
