Other: Car is parked on lawn evenings, all weekend, and some weekdays. They keep a boat in the driveway as well as another car and do not have enough parking in drive for the second car. So car is parked on lawn, almost all the time. I have submitted this issue numerous times. Nothing changes. Is it no longer against city code to park on lawn?
We have been to the location multiple times (day time & evenings)and have not seen any violations. We will continue to monitor the location
Reassigning to Parking Services. Could you please send a parking officer to this area again? Is it possible to put this location on a list of places to visit after 5 pm or on the weekend? I will also keep it on my list to monitor, but I have not observed a vehicle parking on the grass during any of my visits on weekdays.
Thank you for submitting this report. It is a violation of City code to park on an unimproved surface (grass/dirt). As described in this complaint, the vehicles are not usually parked on the grass during the workday when City staff are available to investigate/document the violation. Parking Services and Planning staff have visited the property multiple times in response to past complaints, but the vehicle has not been present, making it difficult for staff to gather evidence of the violation. We will continue to monitor as able.
