Other: I.m writing to ask if anyone inspects the many new building buildings along Jefferson. Specifically I'm concerned about the numerous street cuts that are now present. This road was once a very smooth street and now it is bumpy as can be. Are these cuts going to be finished so that the road is back to the way it was? It was taxpayer money that paved that road initially and it should be properly repaired. I personally feel the City is way to permissive when it comes to allowing half assed repair of street cuts. All over town we have to drive over poorly finished utility cuts. The public should not have bear the hardship these cause. Please insure our streets are properly put back to normal after any construction.

Thank you, You are correct. Some of these cuts are not complete and one must be cut again. This road was paved in 2022 so a full mill and pave is not required. All repairs except 111 and 208 South Jefferson Street are complete and were repaired with hot mix asphalt. Cold patch will be removed and replaced with hot mix at 208 South Jefferson Street in the near future. I spoke with the contractor previously about the repair at 111 S Jefferson Street and it will be recut and repaired when 208 South Jefferson Street is completed.
