Thank you for reporting this concern. Staff reviewed the sign and determined that it is a non-standard warning sign that does not align with current traffic control guidance. Current MUTCD-based practices generally do not support the use of generalized ‘Slow Children’ signage on residential streets, as residential drivers are already expected to operate cautiously and anticipate pedestrians and children in these areas. As a result, the sign is not planned for replacement.
