Received a message from Elida that Xfinity has removed the wire.
Other: This is still the same issue about the cable wire that has been touching my garage roof since the February tornado. I know that it is not Duke's wire. It has been identified as Comcast's wire by a repair man from QC (Comcast's contractor) on Saturday, April 25, 2026. However, Brandon Austin stated that he cannot remove it without the permission of Comcast. I called the 800 XFINITY number and requested that they remove it asap. Here is my work order #: ECM0021457478. I am very concerned because both transformers on either side of my house have been hit by the recent storms. Today, we are having another storm. Can you help prioritize this situation so that I do not have a fire enabled by the cable wire on my garage? Also, I am NOT a Comcast/Xfinity customer. This wire goes into my basement via a window and has never been in use since I purchased this house in 2020. Received a message from Elida that Xfinity has removed the wire.
I spoke to Elida C. Behar today to let her know Xfinity should be reaching out to her. She asked me to keep this case open until the cable is removed.
I called Xfinity they will be emailing Elida Behar about this and making arrangements to raise or remove the wire. The New Ticket # is ECM0021477184.
