Other: -This house/property has been unoccupied for the ENTIRE ~20 years that I have lived on the adjacent property at 2618 S Milton Dr. -The house is deteriorating. No maintenance has been done to the house for ~10 years. -The garage, as you can see from the pic, is dilapidated and likely on the verge of collapsing. -The back yard has been growing wild/is with no maintenance for ~10 years, with a large portion being a thicket of Locust and other small trees. -There are very large Silver Maple trees that are a significant hazard to neighboring properties. -The garage, area under the decaying deck, etc. are almost certainly providing shelter for rats, racoons, skunks, groundhogs, etc. The blight seen here is unacceptable in Broadview which has become more a very nice, presentable neighborhood in the 20 years I have lived here.
Most tickets of this type should be closed within 9 days, although some cases may be longer. 14 days have already passed.
Sent letter for compliance with Title 17 for unsafe structures
