The protected left turn phase from Fee Lane onto 17th Street was intentionally removed about 9–10 years ago following a signal timing study. The study found that left turn volumes were low enough that the intersection operates more efficiently without a protected phase. Left turns at this intersection are therefore designed to operate as a permitted movement. Drivers should turn on the green signal after yielding to oncoming traffic.

These phases were omitted in the past with a timing change.
