Other: Was the streetlight at W Smith and S Jackson st recently replaced with an LED fixture? It is really excessively bright, there was nothing wrong with the existing streetlight. Please turn down the brightness of the light of at all possible, thank you.

I reported these streetlights to Duke Energy and a crew was dispatched to site. The crew adjusted the fixtures as much as possible. Duke Energy is working on an additional resolution. I will report back on this uReport on any additional resolution.

The City has authorized Duke Energy to upgrade the existing old cobrahead (amber colored) fixtures to 50 Watt LED Roadway fixtures. These fixtures have a temperature rating of 3000 Kelvin which is a soft yellow illumination pattern. I will contact Duke Energy and have the new fixtures inspected to ensure they were installed at the appropriate angle. I will keep this open until I hear back from Duke Energy.
