Request a new Street Light:

Other: Duke has changed this street lamp to a bright led. Our neighborhood has the amber lights. Can this lamp be changed to one that matches those in the area? This new one is too bright!

Thank you for submitting a uReport. The City leases these lights from Duke Energy and they provide the maintenance services. The existing street lights within your neighborhood are approximately 29 years old. When the existing lights can no longer be maintained, Duke Energy is changing them out to 50 Watt LED lights. The temperature which determines the brightness of the illumination pattern is set at 3,000 kelvin which is a soft yellowish pattern. I would be happy to contact Duke on your behalf and make sure its a 3,000 kelvin fixture head. Please let me know [email protected]. Christina
