City of Bloomington, Indiana

closed: Resolved #203778

Water Quality:

Other: We have a whole home canister filter that attaches to the city water supply as it enters our home. We changed this filter 25 May 2025. Today, we noticed the filter is absolutely black. We have previously gone 3+ months with only the slightest discoloration and minor particulate matter. What happened? Why were residents not better notified? Was this a known issue?
