This issue is related to the Rogers Road Multiuse Path (High to Stands Dr) (DES 1500382) that Engineering worked on from 2017-2020.
According to our records, Duke Energy was contracted to install LED lights at the intersection of Winding Brook Ct. and E Rogers Rd. The relevant contract document is "BC 2019-99 Duke Energy Lighting Service Agreement for E. Rogers Road Pathway Project" and the file location is: I:\Engineering Archive\Archive Scans Projects Develop, Survey\Project Archive\Rogers Road Multiuse Path (High to Stands Dr) (DES 1500382)\Contract Documents\Lighting
At first glance, it appears that the plans for the installation are premised on installing a new pole in front of the retaining wall. However, when the plans were implemented, the LEDs were installed on an existing pole further away and behind the retaining wall. It also appears as though the implemented height for the LED light is much higher than the proposed height.
Jason has been informed of this complaint. We need to identify the best person to contact Duke Energy about this issue.
