Other: Greetings. Once again, I see little to no effort on behalf of the City of Bloomington in celebrating Pride, and more specifically assuring safety and inclusion of its significant LGBTQ population. At least at current, I see no mention on the CFRD or Mayor pages, and no of no sponsored events. There has been seldom to ever a time in recent years of such attack on this minority population, with safety feeling slim even at the university level, and now is the time for moral leadership. Please step forward and actually speak up on behalf of your residents.

The City of Bloomington is all in on making this a place where everyone feels respected, supported, and like they truly belong. We team up with local partners throughout the year to lift up the many voices that make this city what it is—and we’ll keep showing up to make sure everyone feels seen, heard, and at home.
