Other: This location at 10th St near Fountain Park Apartments and the United States Postal Service has a high volume of pedestrian traffic, especially between the apartment complex and the post office. However, there is only a pedestrian crossing sign in one direction, and there are no road markings indicating a crosswalk.
Many drivers do not stop for pedestrians, creating a dangerous situation for those crossing the street. I am concerned for the safety of residents and postal customers, as the current setup does not effectively alert drivers to pedestrian activity in this area.
Would it be possible to add crosswalk markings and additional signage in both directions, or consider other safety improvements, such as a pedestrian-activated crossing light? These changes could greatly enhance safety for the community. Thank you for considering this request.
