Nuisance Lights:

Other: I reported the light at the alley because when it went out they replaced it with a very bright LED light. It is like a spotlight into my backyard and windows. Someone from duke came out at "fixed" it by pointing it down. But it is still way too bright. All of the other light in the neighborhood are a soft ember. There is no reason for this light to be so bright. And actually we don't even need a light here it's at an alley. It is too bright into my backyard and windows at night.

Hello Victoria, The soft amber colored fixture has been discontinued. Duke Energy replaced it with a 50W LED fixture which is supposed to be a soft yellow. Since this light is a City leased light through Duke Energy, there is a process to have a street light removed. If you want to pursue this process, please send me an email at smithc@bloomington.in.gov.
