The speed cushions will be redesigned when we resurface this street. We are planning on being there the end of October if the weather permits.
Other: I have in front of my house the remnants of a speed bump design that wasn't effective. What is left are two very small speed bumps in the center of the road. Unfortunately, the width of the space between the end of the bump and the curb in front of my house is just wide enough for a car to pass through to avoid the bump entirely. I will say comfortably 50-75 percent (this is a conservative figure) of the traffic does not slow down, and swings into that gap between the speed bump and the curb to pass by. The road in this area in front of my house has had to be repaired at least three times, and it is a hazard for pedestrians on the sidewalk to be in that proximity to the cars at speed. I also have to go through that section of the yard and pick out all the asphalt chunks that have been broken off the road and flipped into my yard before I cut the grass. It is a significant amount. I would like to ask that a speed bump that extends across the road be considered here, much like the ones on Maxwell Drive. Is there anything you can do here? I've included a picture for context. Thank you very much for your help. Rose Johnson
Most tickets of this type should be closed within 7 days, although some cases may be longer. 6 days have already passed.

This street is on DPW's 2024 resurfacing list. The plan is to resurface and also replace all of the old traffic calming with new speed humps which extend across the street as recommended in this uReport. Cheyenne, maybe you can update on the expected date of this work?
