As stated previously, Planning staff do not enter private property. Staff reinvestigated the property for potentially non-compliant lighting based on this description of exactly where the lighting was located. While easy to view from private property, finding a view of the lighting in that exact location from a public property line, proved quite difficult, but Planning staff believe they found and have documented the non-compliant lighting. We will proceed with issuing a Notice of Violation Warning letter for potentially non-compliant lighting.

Planning staff investigated this site (via the alley, we do not enter private property) and did not observe a lighting fixture that was non-compliant during the day. The structure to the southwest of the property partially is obstructed with vegetation growing on it so it could have been missed if it is in this area. If you can follow up with more information, including any photos of the potentially noncompliant lighting by sending an email to planning@bloomington.in.gov that would be most helpful.
