Dear Daniel,
Thank you for your message about the Jackson Creek Trail website. I will work on updating the text on the page, reconfiguring the history of trail construction to be on the bottom and more info and photos about the current trail length and conditions toward the top of the page.
You mentioned you couldn't find a map of the trail; a printable pdf file is available via a link at the bottom of the Jackson Creek Trail website; here is the direct link:
https://bloomington.in.gov/sites/default/files/2023-08/jacksoncreektrailparkmap.pdf
We don't always see eye-to-eye with Google maps, but will continue to submit updates to the Google page to update their listing as well.
If you're a frequent user of Parks and Recreation trails, may I also suggest you download our free mobile app, OuterSpatial, onto your smartphone? OuterSpatial is connected directly to Parks' GIS data, and has timely information and park and trail maps too.
Thank you for your suggestions!
Sincerely,
Julie Ramey, Community Relations Manager
