Other: I was walking my dog (on leash of course) up the street and all of the sudden a dog that lives at the house 133 Lexington Ave runs at top speed across the yard and into the street and straight for my dog. I started yelling “no” at it which slowed it down and the owner must have heard because they finally called the dog back. It was very scary and my dog was incredibly anxious afterwards. I had seen this dog do a similar behavior to someone else walking a dog while driving home last week. It happened so fast I was very concerned I would’ve accidentally hit the dog had I not seen it when I did. At first I thought this was just a one off accident but now that it has happened to me I realize that this dog does not have any sort of yard containment and is becoming more bold with this behavior. It is a great concern to everyone’s safety including the uncontrolled dog. Please visit the home and explain the safety issue and legality of ensuring their dog is properly contained.
