Planning staff have communicated with business representatives several times about the City's signage standards as signs are prohibited in the location of the public right-of-way and they would need to obtain temporary sign permits for their larger signage. A Notice of Violation and Fines letter has been issued to the business and has been ignored. Planning staff will continue to pull signage displayed in the prohibited location of the public right-of-way. The City Legal Department will be responsible for enforcing the fines for continued display of non-compliant signage.
