Other: Forward to Mayor and whoever is involved in approving this. Same sex restrooms at Switchyard park?!! Seriously? I am a lifelong resident of Bloomington of 66 years. I am absolutely appalled at the restrooms being open to whatever sex wants to use them with each other. I had no idea until I visited for the first time and had to use the restroom. My mouth dropped when I read the signs on both sides of the building. What is wrong with the people doing this? For the love of God, put in women and men’s restrooms! The leadership in Bloomington is absolutely rotten in allowing women and children to share a restroom with males. I refuse to ever go to that park or any future park again that allows this. It’s obviously a democratic agenda that has destroyed the town of Bloomington. Keep men out of women and children’s restrooms! Where did you people come from to do such a thing and risk women and children to be sexually assaulted or preyed upon? We want to feel safe and comfortable when we use the restroom. Sick.

Hi - sorry you feel that way. The Switchyard restrooms were designed to have individual stall restrooms rather than a typical gendered restroom with multiple sinks, fixtures, etc. that you would encounter elsewhere. Each stall still offers individual privacy for the user. There are also individual restrooms located at the north end of the park at the BPD Substation.
