Water Utility Problems:

Other: I wish to file a request to the Utilities Dept. to survey the water main line servicing my home and the homes on E. Longview Ave. After two water main breaks in the past thirty days, I believe it would be prudent to survey the line for potential replacement or upgrade as necessary. I understand this survey may take time to allow staff to develop a plan. I hope that you might have equipment to survey to determine if there may be more weaknesses in the line or that a span of the line ought to be replaced. I would guess after two breaks, this request for survey might already be on your to do list at least for Spring 2023. Thank you -

We are monitoring all mains in the City and prioritize replacements based on age, material, size, # of breaks, etc. This is not one of the highest priority locations but we will continue to watch.
