Position Description

Responsible for the operation of Zamboni at specified times throughout open hours, its general maintenance, and light maintenance around building. Responsible for the maintenance of rental skates and sharpening patron's skates. Responsible for cleanliness of rink area. Other duties as directed by rink manager.

Education

High school education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Experience/Special Skills

Experience with Zamboni equipment and skate sharpener preferred but not required.

License/Certification

None

Hours

Position is seasonal: late September/early October to early April.

Various shifts-weeknights and weekends

Mondays through Fridays 4 p.m.-1 a.m.

*5 p.m. start time can possibly be worked out. Closing times depends on event schedule. Most nights will finish by 12:30 a.m.

Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. to 1 a.m., multiple shifts.

Salary

$15.49-$15.69/hour
