My tree branches were not picked up despite being at the curb last week. I created a ticket last week with UReport. Rhea closed the ticket stating that I was told what to do. That is false. No one ever contacted us and the ticket was closed without anything being done or fixed
I have left bundles of yard waste out now twice on the designated pickup dates (2025-07-21 and 2025-07-07) and they were not retrieved. These are just sticks and branches, well within the weight and size limitations.
Large downed tree has been in backyard since the June storm of 2024.
Neighbor at this address has been putting out a large table of dried corn for the deer population. Every morning and evening 4-12 deer will be present. Taking the trash out a young buck became confrontational and almost charged me. I wish they would move this to their backyard or stop completely. There are many young children on the street and I do not want them to have an unsafe interaction. Thank you
Currently, the city only has one method for filing noise complaints, which is to call the number listed on the city's website. Having only one reporting method is extremely ineffective, and limiting the reporting method to only verbal communication creates a barrier for accessibility. There are individuals who cannot communicate over the phone - like me. Illness stole my voice years ago, but my hearing was not impacted - I still hear the noise. I just can't report it. Not sure what an adequate fix would be, as it would have to be something that is regularly monitored. My water is off. There has been work in the area, but no communication about it. No work occurring today. I am quite disturbed that it appears I might be without water for a while with no information about it.
From Reddit Bloomington: Fiber cables damaging sewer lines We live right next to Bryan Park. About a week ago our toilet backed up, and after multiple visits from our (very honest and reasonable) plumber, we discovered that the city's fiber optic internet contractor had carelessly run an optic cable directly through our sewer line. This caused a ton of debris to get into our drain pipe and completely clog the pipe, necessitating a $10k repair. I called the city and apparently, this is happening to people all over town. (The person in the utilities office said I was the third person to call today with this exact problem, and our plumber said that this contractor got thrown out of Carmel for damaging so many sewer lines).
Home is in unsafe condition, animals living in garage, walls crumbling, siding fallen and exposed, holes in garage and roof.
