There is no sidewalk for the church, bus stop, or any of the small businesses on the west side of S. Leonard Springs Road. This road is very busy and while one side of the road is paved, the other side is very dangerous. Please install sidewalks on the west side of S. Leonard Springs Road.
I’m writing to request the completion of unfinished sidewalks and the addition of some crosswalks on the west side of Bloomington. The first is an unfinished stretch of sidewalk along the east side of Curry Pike from Industrial Avenue to the intersection of 2nd St./45. The sidewalk dead-ends before reaching the intersection, and there is no crosswalk at the intersection to allow pedestrians to cross safely from the north side of 2nd St./45 to the south side, or vice versa. The second is a stretch of sidewalk along the north side of 2nd St. from Liberty Drive to Industrial Avenue. This sidewalk is overgrown and near unusable and dead-ends before reaching Industrial Avenue. Moreover, the intersection at Liberty Drive and 2nd St. has a crosswalk on only the north side (going east-west) and does not allow pedestrians to cross safely from the south to north side of 2nd St., or vice versa. Lastly, the sidewalk on the west side of Curry Pike does not connect between Lamplighter Mall Ct. and Glen Oaks Drive, and connecting these stretches of sidewalk would provide better access to 3rd street and the neighborhoods along Curry Pike. It would be much appreciated if the city could complete these stretches of sidewalk and make the area more walkable for those of us who do not have other modes of transportation or who simply prefer to walk the shorter distances to reach businesses and services that are close to home. Black tailor and old truck are often blocking the sidewalks. This requires walking children to move to the road to go around, this is a major issue in the mornings and afternoons.
The 2 traffic circles on either side of I 69 off of Tapp Rd and dangerous. There is no reflective paint around the circle. At night you can not see the circle and I have driven over it since I cant see the boarder. I'd like to see reflective paint around the circle for safety
the curb and gutter throughout our neighborhood is in terrible shape we have reported this to the streets department several times with no action to the complaint. The curb and gutter and completely eroded and causing a serious trip or injury hazard needs repaired and/or replaced ASAP before one of my kids or parents are injured
Directly across from Honda dealership there are two items that need attention. 1 being occluded storm sewer, the other being two pieces of stone next to curb on road. Stone sizes are approximately 1/2 of a loaf of bread size. Thank you as always. Ps, is it possible to have the workers glance at the remaining storm sewers as well, a couple were starting to get covered over as well.
The storm drain is clogged and flooding the road in front of the house.
