The dumpster behind the Japanese Restaurant at 8th & Walnut Street is overflowing. This has been going on for 3 weeks. Trash is blowing everywhere and there are dead rats laying around.

utilities worker called to say grass and weeds are growing over the sidewalk from the back yard

Residence was written up again today for failure to have stickers attached to bags/cans. Crew also noted that there is even more trash than before.

Wilma called to say the backyard of above property is nasty. You can go into Wilma's yard (3511) to see the trash.

This is the third time that resident has been written up for failure to comply with trash ordinances since 8-11-11. Resident has also spoken with the Sanitation Director on one occasion. During that conversation, Shelby advised the resident that we would not be able to pick up trash if it was in a container over 35 gallons (their can is 50 gallons), overweight, and not stickered.
