The streets in Windermere Woods are in bad shape in many spots. Pot holes in the middle and where the streets meet the curbs, etc. It is getting dangerous for walking and for biking and is als not good for our cars. We have called the city several times over the past five years or so and been told each time that "we were on the list" for repairs. Please repave our streets. This report is being submitted by Philippa Guthrie (Corporation Counsel) on Ellie Rogers' behalf. Ellie sent me photos but they won't upload. I can email them so please contact me at 349-3547 or email guthriep@bloomington.in.gov
large diameter pothole rt side of NB lane, rockport just north of Shaw
Summerwood Court Cul-de-sac off Azalea. Asphalt has started crumbling and is breaking up. This circle is a major "turnaround" for vehicles and gets a lot of traffic, which exacerbates the problem. If the City of Bloomington could do some repairs, it might offset the need for a major repair in the spring.
Missing cover, about 11 inches between 1023 and 1025 S. Walnut Street
damaged roll curb and potholes along Silver Creek Drive near 2740 Silver Creek Drive and 2743 Silver Creek Drive. Two homeowners have fallen in this area in the last few months.
roll curb is crumbling between 2024 and 2026 Ramsey Drive; has worsened over the summer months.
Small but annoying pothole on Dorchester which is very difficult to miss when turning from Hillside onto Dorchester.
I couldn't find the place to report a street light outage, but the light in the middle of the culdesac of E. Tyler's Turn is out.
There is a gravel area between 730 Atwater and 725 Hunter where the stones have been displaced causing a large pothole. This has become dangerous for the people living in the surrounding houses because when the hole fills with water and freezes in the winter, it becomes very slippery. Also, small cars bottom out when they hit that pothole, and it can't be avoided. It could use some more gravel brought in as soon as possible.
