Excessive Growth
703 S Lincoln ST

- 7/29/2016
Jeff Lowe, property owner at 1303 S. Park St., has had ongoing frustrations with Duke Energy regarding the removal of a tree from his property. He called expressing frustration, so OOTM would be aware of an unhappy Duke Customer. I believe he spoke to Julia yesterday as well.
I called about two weeks ago re: mulberry tree that is growing over into the pedestrian crossing light, etc. at the corner of Rogers/3rd St. into PH. House on NW corner. I'd take out the tree completely (if it were on my property--plenty of said 'weed' trees in southern Indiana). Also, I've contacted the city (as have my neighbors within this Rogers/Smith Ave block re: diseased and damaged trees between Prospect and Smith Ave. on Rogers St. Now, we are talking about years of 'heads up' to the City, but no 'top of our list' action. Rogers is a historic street on Prospect Hill Neighborhood. I do HOPE that some chainsaws will be in action soon, plus the planting of some native hardwoods (or some like species that your tree experts find appealing and hardy) soon.

Q: The south, east and west median strips adjacent to the Renwick/Moores Pike roundabout are well-maintained. However, the north median (by Ridgemede Hills) is neither planted nor weeded. How can this be remedied?
This entire wall, almost a city block is constantly tagged. It gets painted over and is just tagged again. This needs to be addressed by the city and property owner.
These weeds are over 7ft tall in some spots. The line in front of the fence is managed by Ariel apartments and they haven't taken care of the weeds all summer
