Water runoff does not go to culvert put in. Water running across road and down street missing grates.
Three corners on 11th and Monroe have overgrown grass and weeds. Ms. LaGrange says that Dick Wells forces them to continually file complaints with our office in order to have him take care of his properties.
The storm inlet in front of his house has overflowed twice this summer and the water ran into his garage and den area causing significant damage.
Neighbors at 4209 E. Deckard built a retaining wall that will cause runoff onto her property. Other neighbors say they will build a wall also which will cause more runoff.
Grass not cut except when a complaint is filed.
Restripping of Sixth St. between Walnut and Washington has resulted in the elimination of six parking spaces. Don Porter has advised her that this is due to compliance with the State Ordinance and that Transit had requested easier clearance when turning right off of Walnut onto Sixth. ( see letter)
Street drains do not work adequately and water backs up onto driveway and into house. Currently owner is pursueing the previous property owner due to lack information about on-going/previous drainage problem. He would like all avaiable information that the City has on file in regards to previous drainage complaints.
Water runs off going north on Maple Street, goes down driveway and into the garage. A poriton of 16th Street, which is at this point is unimproved, runs behind the property of 212 N. Maple. Dunn, Ferguson, and Schmalz own both properties and do not mind if the water is redirected onto their property behind N. Maple. J. Freeman stated that this address was looked into a couple of years ago and it was decided that an asphalt berm could be installed across the drive at 212 N. Maple.
Residents @ 526 N. Lincoln dumped trash in above dumpster. Two witnesses, residents moved out over the weekend and dumped lots of trash in dumpster and alley.
