4110 E Morningside Drive. Overgrown grass.
Please hold the owners of the commercial building for sale on the b-line by the pickle ball courts accountable for their property. There is trash and overgrowth everywhere! This is a huge eyesore for a otherwise nice area that tax payers spent a lot of money on and to maintain!
On the north side of the newly-paved 7th Street, between Dunn and College Avenues, there are numerous locations where sewer and water drain covers are sinking into the ground...it is excessively bumpy, hazardous and only going to get worse unless addressed immediately.
Property isn't being maintained. Please note - it is not the homeowner's responsibility to maintain the common property - it is the responsibility of the Winslow Farm Community Association. All areas around the ponds are overgrown and represent a hazard. The area next to 612 E Winslow Farm Dr. is overgrown (picture above) as well.
For the last couple of months, at least, the trash truck is not tipping my can enough to fully dump the trash. Heavy things, such as bags of cat liter are not falling out of the can before the truck finishes dumping it. On Tuesday when they came this problem was worse then ever and half of the trash stayed in the can.
The City owns TWO Historic Buildings. The Waldron AND The Banneker. One serves white residents. The other serves Black residents. One is getting a $500k renovation. The other desperately needs roof, HVAC, windows, flooring, masonry and drainage repair. Recover forward should honor ALL residents of Bloomington. Black and white. Invest in The Banneker.
