Grass getting long
Grass getting long
There is a sinkhole developing in the northbound lane of fee road at the intersection with 10th st, near the manhole cover. There is currently a small hole in the asphalt, but there is a deeper hole that is roughly 2 feet deep below it, and the asphalt around the hole is starting to depress and cave in.
Northbound side of Rogers Street and Country Club Drive (cars waiting between that nasty abandoned gas station and the country club fence): the west-bound left turn onto Country Club green arrow lights up regardless there being any cars in the left-turn lane. I see this various times of day (when I'm in the north-bound lane on Rogers). Perhaps there's no sensor in the road, but thought I'd bring it up.
The sidewalk by 1398 W. 8th is damaged and a tripping hazard.
Meter took some quarters without adding time. Took some and added. Meter number in photo
South side of swuare. Meter number in photo. Some wyarters did not add time.
The sidewalk crossing the driveway at 1925 N Kinser Pike has been reduced to gravel. This prevents me from using it when in my power wheelchair. This break means I must use another route into town. The only alternative is the pedestrian path toward Arlington School off of Skyline and then returning to Kinser via Parrish. There are problems with this route reported elsewhere
The pedestrian footpath between Skyline Dr. and the circle drive at Arlington School has a very rough transition at the Skyline end. It is also noticeably overgrown limiting my already low vision and ability to avoid any oncoming traffic. Currently this is the only route into town for me in my power wheelchair
The pedestrian crossing at the intersection of W. Gourley Pike & Kinser Pike is unmarked and thus invisible for oblivious passing motorists leading to a number of scary crossings for me. The speed limit is posted 30 mph but Northbound traffic often streams downhill from 17th at speeds more like 40 mph. Despite the danger crossing in my power wheelchair with velocitized drivers streaming in from SR 46 on the other side as well, it is the safest alternative with more severe problems on the Arlington bridge/Colonial Crest route reported separately.
