The dumpster on the corner of 3rd and Grant is full with trash. It has furniture and glass strewn around it. It is also causing a problem with parking.
There is a Yard Sale sign that has been placed in this yard. ( This is an insurance company) - No one asked the company for persmission to put the sign there. They just want an understanding with who ever placed it there that permission needs given. This happens about once a year for the last three years.
The house directly behind Woodward Insurance has dumped a sofa, carpet, etc. in the alley. The dumpster is almost out in the alley. The alley runs east and west between Lincoln and Grant Streets.
I reported this previously and I received a response that all signs are clearly marked (apparently not). The signs indicating "One Way" on the corner of E 6th and Grant, and for that matter, at any intersection on E 6th Street, are not sufficient. There need to be *large* signs indicating DO NOT ENTER to vehicles attempting to turn left onto E 6th from two-way roads that run perpendicular (i.e. Grant, Lincoln). The current signage is not sufficient. Please fix this before a pedestrian or a driver is seriously injured.
Have not shoveled the sidewalks
Alexa called is and stated that the sanitation crews left her a notice that her trash was not stickered. Alexa states that the trash was stickered and that someone took the stickers. Dirk went out to check and stated that the trash was piled in and around a can that had a partial sticker on it but that there was more trash than one sticker would cover. Trash was picked up this time but will be logged for future reference
Bags/cans must have sticker attached.
