Cambridge Square Apartment bldg303 unit 313. Manager Diane Cook rented me an apartment which had bed bugs. She knew of these conditions and denied numerous current and past residents treatment for what is infecting our apartments. Then she routinely blames clients to get them evicted which she is currently trying to do to me!
There is a loud rumbling noise coming from Carlise factory since 10pm Sunday December 5 that is causing shaking of my house and vibrations that can be felt inside. Noise from the factory has been an ongoing issue, but it has been increasing in volume and intensity for a few months. The factory was quiet yesterday during the day (Sunda) bu the noise and reverberations that began at 10pm last night has been the worst yet. I'm concerned for my personal safety, but also for the structure of my house and utilities - especially gas lines.
The owners of this residence are continuing to let this building fall into disrepair and are possibly pursuing a "demolition through neglect". There has been substantial improvement to this structure since I moved within view of this building in March of 2013. This has led to the building becoming a public safety hazard for both the Near Westside and Prospect Hill neighborhoods.
Please, clean up our neiborhood. I am talking about West Graham drive in Broadview. My taxes are increased and still our neighborhood has the scourge of 913 West Graham Drive. There are many unrelated people living at this address. More than the limit. The area in front of and beside the house has cars parked not on the street but in the yard. There have been many add in’s to this property and we saw no display of a building permit. Neighbors believe this is a drug house. People park their cars in the middle of the street obstructing traffic when visiting this property. Make our neighborhood safe again. Worst city government in 50 years.
I own the property located at 1005 N. Jackson St, 47404. Shortly after purchasing the property the house next door burned down. We felt very fortunate that our house was not damaged. The house was demolished, however, shortly after demolishing the house someone has set up a tent on the lot and multiple people have been seen using the tent. There is trash surrounding the tent. Though we have not seen a fire there is what appears to be a makeshift fire pit. We use this property as a short term rental and it has the proper permits. I am personally concerned about the safety of my wife who spends some of her days working on improvements within the property. Obviously concerned about the impact on our ability to rent the home with the above described situation. I'm not sure what can be done but after reviewing the code it does not seem like this fits the intended use of the property. I am also empathetic to the rise of homelessness in our community, but this is a residential neighborhood and for the safety of all community members something should be done. We dodged a serious issue when the house burnt down and worry we may not be so lucky if something happens again. Thanks for your attention to this matter, please reach out with any questions. The security fence set up to hinder people from crossing RR property at Dunn has been cut through and people are now walking across, even when the train is coming. This necessitates the train conductors to blow their horns loudly to clear the tracks at this location when they pass by (at all hours). When "The Standard" is full of 1000+ entitled undergraduates, they will likely all use this passage to make their lives easier. Who is actually responsible for maintaining the wall/fencing that blocks illegal and dangerous crossing of the tracks stretching from Walnut to Indiana Avenues? It was not so bad when Brownstone was still there, but since the beginning of the "Standard" construction project (that has been going on sporadically for two years now), the barrier has slowly degraded. Is this a matter for the police or the "Standard" property owners or the City or the adjacent property owners? We fear that there will be a high rate of late-night, drunken crossings coupled with the likely concomitant periodic deaths if something is not done about this. Does Bloomington rally want to continue to be known for a place that allows (encourages) dangerous and unhealthy behavior? It's bad enough that scooters are allowed (how many deaths have they caused so far?) - does the City now want there to be regular RR accidents that result in beheadings, or worse?

Construction going on in back yard. No permit posted in an obvious place. Large excavation done against foundation. No supports in place and pit is dark at night. Drunks could fall in at night.
