Hello, there is currently no safe way to cross 3rd street at Grant to get to the BT stop. There is no crosswalk at that intersection. I walked down to cross at Lincoln but after I crossed, the sidewalk is under construction and I had to walk on the street. Is there some kind of “temporary crosswalk” that can be installed at 3rd and grant? Traffic is crazy and dangerous right now. Thanks, -Bill
The new median at the intersection of 3rd and Grant has been helpful. However, I have seen a number of drivers who are disgruntled not being able to turn the direction they want go around the median in a dangerous way. In one instance I witnessed, I believe this caused a fender-bender accident. In another instance I experienced as a pedestrian crossing, a car made an illegal turn around the median and had to stop right before me. I suggest that there be an extra pylon placed at the ends of the median's yellow lines to disincentivize this erratic driving.
Turn on S Grant, first alleyway (behind the boys and girls club), connects to Lincoln. When will it be plowed and could you call me to let me know when? Thank you.

The house across the street from 318 E. Smith Avenue has problems with trash piling up in the yard. The citizen has talked to the landlord but the problem is still happening. Citizen stated that the residence was on the corner of Grant & Smith and that the house faced Grant Street.
