Excessive Growth
701 E 10th ST

I'll admit that this isn't one of the more extreme instances of "excessive growth" by any means, but it nonetheless reaches beyond the property and obstructs a portion of the sidewalk. The other day I had to pass by another person here and essentially found myself walking through plants/bushes.

Leaf Collection
701 1/2 N Lincoln ST

Property owner blew leaves all over sidewalks along both Cottage Grove and Lincoln, where they have piled up and are blocking passage and making the walkways slippery and dangerous. If the City refuses to pick up leaves, they should at least follow through and fine people who blow leaves onto ther people's property or public thoroughfares. The argument that the leaves will eventually decay is specious; that line of thought could be extended to saying that there is no need for laws at all because eventually everyone alive today will one day be dead.

There are three cars parked on Walnut near the corner of 17 and Walnut. They seemed to have been parked there overnight. Isn't there some ordinance to prevent someone from parking in the street? This is not designated as a parking area. Can't they be towed?
